- safely and efficiently operate a vehicle to deliver goods to customers
- load and unload parcels from the vehicle
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided
- ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels and tyre pressure
- note: This position may require working in a warehouse environment when not making deliveries
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a maximum of 6 points on licence
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
