working with the Brewing Director and Head Brewers in weekly planning of brewery resources to ensure that production requirements are met
maintaining, and driving forward a high standard of professionalism, organisation and cleanliness related to all packaging processes
leading QC checks on all packaged products
carrying out preventive and emergency maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment, liaising with contractors as required
ensuring all packaging materials are available as required
overseeing all packaging processes, including kegging, casking, tank transfers, CIPs and canning on our ABE CraftCan 35, ensuring high quality of beers through all processes
reducing waste and environmental impact through improved packaging and cleaning processes
working with the packaging team to ensure adherence to SOPs, H&S measures, quality controls, and continued personal development through both direct and off site training
Requirements
2 years experience in a senior packaging or equivalent role within a commercial brewery
forklift experience
experience in, and understanding of, the modern UK beer scene
full, clean, UK drivers licence
ability to work both independently, and to lead a small team, in a professional, approachable, and positive manner
experience with Breww Brewery Management Software
ability to problem solve, and adapt to a variety of changing tasks and challenges
