- full UK Driving License
- tranport office experience advantageous
- excellent geographical knowledge of the Leeds and Yorkshire area advantageous
Responsibility
- ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to
- ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules for all staff and operatives
- achieve agreed SLA’s and maintaining effectiveness of the warehouse and distribution departments
- provide a high level of efficient planning for both parcel and pallet deliveries to ensure excellent levels of service to all LPC’s customers
- working closely with the drivers, the admin and the warehouse staff to ensure deliveries are on time and trunks are to capacity within the required timescales
- work alongside the Health and Safety Manager to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- you are responsible for all aspects of health and safety of yourself and others
