Responsibility
- ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the building and adherence to Health and Safety regulations
- cleaning and tidying of all areas including dining room, lounges, bedrooms, bathrooms and showers/ toilets
- washing and drying of laundry
- to report necessary repairs and carry out as required
- ensure all cleaning products are in stock and deliveries are checked for quality and against original order and stored appropriately
- to undertake other duties appropriate to running of the centre including, weekend, evening and Bank Holiday working
- responsible for the removal of rubbish, emptying litter bins, vacuum cleaning, sweeping, mopping, polishing, dusting and where necessary, the use of powered equipment e.g. vacuum cleaners, carpet shampoo machines etc
- take an active role in the Domestic Team, including attending meetings and taking an active role in ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to and reporting defects to the Head of Centre
