Responsibility

  • ability to read and follow technical drawings and specification to specific project requirements
  • operate a variety of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools to shape, cut, and assemble wooden components
  • accurately measure, mark, and cut timber elements to ensure precision of fitting and alignment
  • shape and mould surfaces using techniques such as planning and sanding
  • competence in joinery techniques such as dovetail and biscuit joints
  • install hardware, fittings, and other finishes
  • inspect finished products for quality
  • collaborate with colleagues, including designers, paint shop and metal fabrication to ensure effective project execution
