Responsibility

  • maintain Audit trails
  • responding to Ad-hoc queries and requests for information and analysis from suppliers, customers, auditors and colleagues as required
  • bookkeeping
  • responsible for the Company’s Accounts Payable processes and associated General Ledger records – ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with company policies
  • debt chasing

Requirements

  • previous Accounts Payable / Credit Control / Purchase Ledger experience is essential including statement reconciliation and dealing with suppliers
  • ability to work to high standards, self-motivated and a drive for delivering best outcomes at all times
  • skills to set current processes and procedures to a higher more structured level
  • experience in working with Accounting General Ledger applications and in particular accounts payable modules
  • strong Relationship Management skills
  • good approach to being formal and organised as an Accounts Department should be
  • A desire to succeed further within the company as it grows further
