Responsibility
- to work towards targets in access & employment and demonstrating excellent caseload management
- maintain and strengthen current employer engagement activities including employer events, including identifying relevant events and conferences to attend
- to undertake IPS training and develop an excellent understanding of Fidelity

- conduct initial meetings with participants to build rapport, gain consent and collect baseline information
- manage a CSP caseload moving participants into construction roles where possible
- identify barriers to employment and assist participants with job readiness skills, job search strategies, CV building etc
- to monitor, support and drive the performance of the CSP project with support from the project manager and to achieve individual, team and contractual outcomes
- manage a caseload of up to 20/25 clients, of whom are unemployed looking for work, those in work off sick, and those in work who are requiring retention support
- this includes working with Heads of Service in partnership to establish and evaluate priorities and provision
- attend all relevant internal and external and internal stakeholder meetings, prioritizing MDTs/ Community Care Meetings
- meet and exceed job outcome targets and ensure quality of service by facilitating employment focused meetings and 1-2-1s, providing solution focused support
- keep abreast of local labour market trends, job openings, skills requirements and general information that will assist participants in seeking employment
- proactively source potential job opportunities with employers through tailored and targeted approach
- develop, strengthen and pro-actively account manage new employer relationships to increase participants opportunities to secure jobs, apprenticeship’s and traineeships in the construction sector
- to use departmental contract destination data in order to inform and identify areas of action or success and use statistical analysis of all available management information to develop and promote the service and inform your decision making to continuously improve employer engagement activity
- to monitor and ensure through Quality Assurance Checks the team remain compliant with contractual paperwork and that process is adhered to
- support participants to understand their skills aspiration and goals through the completion of vocational profile and produce a personal employment plan to obtain competitive employment in line with their preferences
- working alongside the quality assurance team ensuring paperwork is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
- ensure you are using the NHS MIS, Carenotes/ RIO to document client’s journey ensuring you adhere to GDPR standards
- work in collaboration with all staff teams across Landau to ensure effective cross-working to meet the objectives of the charity and our contracts
- work intensively with a caseload of clients to identify their employment/ housing/ financial wellbeing needs, skills, and aspirations
- adhere to administrative and data capture protocols on Cognisoft, recording all participants’ details, participant journey and progress and Employer details
- receive and manage referrals ensuring all referrals are contacted within agreed timescales
- contribute to the preparation of reports, project reviews, and case studies
- be responsible for effective income generation and budget monitoring of staff and non-staff costs, within the remit of the Employment Services team
- ensuring this data tool is utilised in order facilitate employer engagement activities across contracts employer contacts
- participate in community events and outreach activities to promote Landau services
Requirements
- relevant previous experience in the recruitment/ welfare to work/ supported employment field
- experience working with individuals facing employment or housing challenges
- experience working with individuals facing employment challenges

- educated to a degree level or equivalent
- minimum 2 years’ experience of working in supported employment services
- level 3 IAG or equivalent in an Employability Services Sector Qualification or willing to work towards the qualification
- minimum 2 years’ experience of working with people and holding a caseload of participants who present with barriers into employment
- mental First Aid Qualification
- knowledge of disability, barriers that people face when wanting to return to work, policies and legislation in relation to employment
- A high level of understanding in the principles and practice of supported employment
- experience of partnership working and integration with key agencies, negotiation and liaison work with other agencies
- knowledge of employers and how to engage with businesses to develop partnerships
- experience of opening up job opportunities with a range of employers
- knowledge of the welfare benefits system
- knowledge of employment law
- experience of delivering training
- this could include those who experience poor Mental/ Physical Health, Substance Misuse, Homelessness, Veterans, Offending, NEETS, those from a disadvantage background, LD and the Long Term Unemployed
- knowledge of IPS principles and approach
- experience of administration of funded provision
- training / Qualifications in within the following sectors Mental/ Physical Health, Substance Misuse, Homelessness, Veterans, Offending, NEETS, those from a disadvantage background, LD and the Long Term Unemployed
