LAND DRAINAGE CONSULTANCY is looking for employees for positions:
graduate surveyor
Responsibility
- we are seeking a proactive and sociable candidate to fill a gap within our agricultural land drainage and soil survey teams
- some experience of agriculture, landowner liaison and/or surveying preferred, but full training will be supplied
- the work will include assisting with carrying out land drainage/soil surveys on agricultural land, drawing up designs, reports and plans and attending meetings with clients, farmers and land agents
- the successful candidate would be home based initially and will be expected to work throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire with the occasional visit to LDC head office in Yorkshire for training
- you will be working on a variety of interesting projects including offshore wind farms, carbon capture pipelines and various other Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects
Requirements
- knowledge and interest in farming and agricultural practices
- ability to work outside and travel to projects
- CAD and/or GIS experience
- ability to work as part of a small team and independently
- good IT skills
