Requirements
- high school national 5's as a minimum
- strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade
- excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly
- positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges
- ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
- basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts is preferred but not required
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites
Responsibility
- assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand the layout and specifications of electrical systems
- assist in the routing and running of electrical wiring, conduit, and other components
- learn to safely and effectively use hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade
- support the troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical problems, and assist in implementing appropriate solutions
- maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols and adhere to all relevant safety guidelines and procedures
- actively participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems
