• developing, implementing, and maintaining effective compliance programs and policies in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices

• collaborating with internal stakeholders to address compliance-related issues and support decision-making processes
• supporting junior members of the team
• staying updated on changes in legal and regulatory frameworks, assessing their impact on the firm's operations and proactively implementing necessary adjustments
• you will join a compliance team as head of the department working with two administrators

Requirements

• in-depth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks including AML, GDPR and the SRA’s code of conduct
• proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role within the legal industry
• in-depth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including AML, GDPR, and professional conduct rules

• strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulations into practical guidelines
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance
• qualification as a Solicitor is desirable but not essential
