Responsibility
- oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
- plan and create menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- prepare and cook high-quality dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
- supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
- proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- excellent time management skills to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
