Requirements
- the candidate will preferably be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
- ideally experience or knowledge of the highways and/or civil engineering sectors
- experience with the NEC Contract
- full driving licence
- the candidate will be proactive, be able to use his/her initiative and be able to carry out work without close supervision
- A flexible work approach and willingness to travel/work away from home is required
- methodical, organised and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
- attentive to detail
Responsibility
- tender evaluation and reporting
- visit sites for the purposes of measurement, valuations, recording of progress
- provision of cost advice including preparation of feasibility estimates, pre and post-contract cost reports, pre-tender estimates and the like
- submission and assessment of contractor applications and variations
