Responsibility
- to adhere to the companies “Advice Process” policy in all matters
- work as a team and offer support and assistance to colleagues
- identify and contact potential clients. Gather sufficient client information and identify client needs
- keep up to date with new mortgage, GI and protection products, lending criteria, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace
- analyse information and complete sufficient research to make suitable recommendations
- always comply with the firm’s Compliance; Training & Competence; Complaints and Data Security policies / procedures
- complete all supporting documentation in an accurate manner
- ensure that the firm’s clients are always treated fairly
Requirements
- excellent inter-personal skills, both written and verbal
- detailed knowledge of the FCA’s rules and requirements
- excellent rapport building skills
- detailed knowledge of the FCA’s and the firm’s record keeping requirements
- excellent report writing skills
- understanding of the mortgage application and completion process
- understanding the need for empathy in certain circumstances
- ability to use internal and external online systems and platforms
