- strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site teams
- good understanding of water industry standards, regulations, and construction methods
- sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements
- good problem-solving and organisational skills, able to manage changing priorities
- confident communicator, both verbally and in written site documentation
Responsibility
- supervise site teams conducting clean water network works, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality always
- allocate tasks and resources, coordinate site activities, and provide clear instructions to crew members
- ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting site inspections and safety briefings as required
- consult with clients, local authorities, and customers as needed, representing Cappagh professionally on site
- support the induction, mentoring, and development of new or less experienced staff
- resolve any on-site problems or obstacles quickly and effectively to avoid delays
- ensures all site paperwork, permits, and records are completed accurately and submitted on time
- maintain good relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other third parties involved in site operations
