Responsibility
- conduct Health & Safety reviews with Training Officers within designated regions, covering the other regions when necessary
- member of the Health & Safety Working Party, preparing information for the meetings as required
- ensure all apprentice and JTL staff accidents within designated regions are recorded in the correct manner, following company procedure. Working with employers on completion of accident documentation through to submission to relevant authority
- facilitate the self-assessment inspection visits and reports, assisting the H&S Manager as required
- deliver manual handling and DSE training, for internal staff, when required
- audit Pre-Placement Assessment documentations within designated regions, verifying completion on IT system, working with employers to monitor and follow-up development plans through to completion
- in liaison with the QA Manager agree and carryout regional team inspections, completing feedback reports to the QA Manager within agreed timescale
- in liaison with the HSM and Office Manager, as part of the H&S self-assessment process, carryout office fire risk assessments. Producing and agreeing with the Office Manager appropriate action plans where required and monitor through to completion
