Responsibility

• pick clients orders correctly and load them onto our vehicles safely
• this is a physically demanding job and many of our Walk In Cold Rooms are built outdoors
• drive one of our 3.5t vehicles to customers venues to install the Cold Rooms to the customers specifications

• liaise with sub-contractors, site event staff and colleagues to ensure the efficient delivery and collection of equipment on site
• assemble Cold Rooms on client site to clients specifications
• remove Cold Rooms at the end of the customers hire and return equipment to the Warehouse
• on average you will work between 48-50 hours per week. Established team members earn up to £35,000pa
• jongor Hire is a family business who have been providing high-quality catering equipment and walk in Cold Rooms to businesses for over 45 years
• clean all cold room panels and equipment, identifying damage and missing parts
• we fulfil over 2,000 orders per year, from supplying hire equipment to events such as Cheltenham Gold Cup, Silverstone and The BRIT Awards, to supplying temporary kitchen units to the NHS and National Grid
• store cold room equipment and appliances safely and in the correct warehouse location
• working as part of the Events and Cold Rooms team, our Cold Room Installers deliver, install and derig our Walk In Cold Rooms at events across the U.K
• our Walk In Cold Rooms are made up of module panels built in widths of up to 4.8m and to an unlimited length
• travel to events sites UK wide pre and post live dates to provide support for the movement of our kitchen hire equipment
• you need to be able to commute to our warehouse in central Bristol. From there you will drive with a team of 2-3 people to our clients sites

Requirements

• previous experience of working in a physically demanding role such as labourer
• experience of working in a physically demanding role
• experience of working at large scale event sites

• experience of working in the hospitality/event industry would be advantageous
• good communication skills and the ability to effectively interact clients
• previous experience of working in a physically demanding role such as labouring; loading and unloading; marquee building

• accurately counting or scanning hire equipment back from clients and highlighting to the Warehouse Manager any damages or losses
• storing hire equipment safely and in the correct location within the Warehouse
