Salary £50,047 – £55,805 per annum Location Mile End Campus, London Queen Mary University of London are seeking to appoint to the post of Health & Safety Manager (Science & Engineering) and Chemical Safety Adviser. As postholder you will have responsibility for providing a comprehensive health and safety service to the Faculty of Science & Engineering. A significant part of the role will be concerned with ensuring that the health & safety risks arising from Science & Engineering operations are identified and managed appropriately. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive chemical safety advice and carry out the role of non-ionising Radiation Protection Officer across the university. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and be Chartered or committed to continuing in a health and safety career pathway and working towards Chartered Member of IOSH or equivalent professional body. You will possess relevant experience gained within in a similar health and safety focused role in an organisation equivalent to the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
