  • controlling production hours and communicating expectations to workshop & yard personnel
  • ensuring that all goods are quality checked prior to despatch addressing any deficiencies
  • chairing weekly planning meetings with yard personnel
  • providing motivation, support and guidance to all workshop & yard personnel
  • ensuring that the principals of value engineering are in place and met at all times
  • ensuring that all applicable maintenance is carried out to workshop equipment & machinery and any repairs are actioned in a timely manner with a view to minimizing downtime

Requirements

  • experience as a bench joiner and managing a busy joinery workshop
  • joinery: 5 years
  • carpentry: 1 year
