- to support the Mechanical team to design and build robotic and other hardware that support OCR's business and product objectives

- perform hand calculations and FEA to help develop and support other engineers as designs for new hardware is developed
- continually and effectively communicate to all members of the mechanical team to maintain team cohesion
- build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing and may be required to set up and run lab simulations

- you should have experience delivering within the nuclear licenced site boundary
- good organisation skills, able to prioritise under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- knowledge of lifting techniques, process etc. within a facility based production environment
- mechancial Design experience
- working knowledge of industry standards for downhole equipment would be advantageous
- strong experience in design for manufacture and assembly
- degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- experene of management of engineering to technical solutions and dealing with stakeholders across various levels of seniority
- flexible work attitude, happy to get stuck into any tasks to support the wider project team
- design of conventional mechanical handling equipment to support production activities, focus on materials handling and flow
- mechanical Engineering Degree
- proven ability to perform and document tolerance stacks across complex assemblies
- proficient in AutoCAD, Creo and Inventor
