Working hours

Responsibility

  • we are looking to recruit a part time sales associate who is enthusiastic and highly committed
  • the sales associate must have 2 years retail experience, ideally within the book, music and vinyl record trade
  • A strong knowledge base of books and vinyl records will prove valuable
  • the individual must be an excellent communicator with an approachable and friendly personality
  • customer interaction will be required at all levels in the bookshop, on the phone and through email
  • good digital and IT skills will be necessary to use the in house computerised system
  • to interact with customers on our products, giving advice and guidance on purchases
  • to answer customer enquires in person, on the phone or via email in a prompt and timely manner
