Requirements
- A formal qualification in Art, at Level 3 or above
- degree in Art
- demonstrable experience with young people
- experience of working in an educational setting
- demonstrable success working as part of a team
- experience in demonstrating Art & Design
- the successful candidate is likely to have experience in a similar role demonstrating organisational ability, initiative taking and a considerable talent and flair for Art and Design
- he/she is likely to have experience working with a wide range of people including colleagues, those in external agencies and young people in an educational environment
Responsibility
- support for Students and their work
- support of students by providing technical help
- organisation of storage of students’ work
- contribution to the Art Department being a welcoming place for students
- responsible to: Head of Art & Design and the College Bursar
- maintenance of stock levels and notifying the Head of Department of shortages
- production and maintenance of high quality displays of students’ work both in the department and in designated areas throughout the school
- photocopying, laminating and filing
