Responsibility

  • we are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an in-office accountant/bookkeeper
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
  • prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • track and record expenses, including bills and invoices
  • assist with budget planning and forecasting
  • ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
  • maintaining financial records for the company's various properties, including income and expenses for each property
  • assisting with the preparation of financial reports for property owners or investors, such as rent rolls or occupancy reports

Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • experience in the property management or development industry is a plus, but not essential
