Responsibility
- running Monday trade, daily sales, weekly and adhoc reports to support Merchandiser
- responsible for delivery schedule liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met, samples, are approved on time etc
- managing stock flow

- ordering barcodes from external suppliers
- providing commercial insight into the online channel performance
- monitor on-site searches with a view to identifying opportunities to increase sales
- formulate range strategy and build commercially viable ranges in collaboration with Buying and Design team
- keeping sales showrooms tidy and updated with new samples
- setting up and testing new promotions
- react to performance, manage risk and potentialize bestsellers
- helping out when customers are visiting, meet and greet duties and offering drinks on arrival
- manage allocation and replenishment plans
- working with QA team to check samples
- implement terminal stock and exit plans to manage out old season stock
- managing photo samples for key customers
- maintaining delivery dates and bookings for deliveries
- working with the Merchandiser Manager on new accounts – JD SPORTS, NICCE, ASOS, FOOTASYLUM with a view to running their own accounts after probation period and training
- sending out parcels/post by DHL and DPD
- responsible for the co-ordination of all critical path milestones to ensure accurate invoicing
- answering the phone/door intercom
- create sample development requisition forms for the suppliers
- weekly trade reports and present dept performance in the buying and merch trade meetings
- responsible for line flow options forecasting sales to ensure enough stock in business and stores
- updating and meticulously monitoring the critical path to identify any potential for slippage
- attending customer fit session and ensuring all the requirements are fulfilled
- working closely with visual merchandisers ensuring maximum visibility for best sellers etc
- developing and managing merchandise admin assistants within the team
- providing administrative support to the account managers for new cost enquiries
- reporting to the Merchandiser Manager
- liaising with the factory and customer on a daily basis
- involved in new season buy meetings and make performance and competitor packs
- ensuring factories have all the relevant information needed to complete each order on time and to customer requirements
Requirements
- strong, proven retail / e-commerce Merchandiser experience is required
- MUST have experience as an Import Merchandiser for a well established supplier to the high street retailers
- analytical / Excel skills
