Requirements
- to be welcoming and approachable to all guests visiting the hotel
- to operate the hotel reception to the agreed hotel standards
- responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the public areas by controlling and monitoring heating, lighting, music/tv
- deal with any guest queries/complaints in a polite and friendly manner ensuring guest satisfaction
- to deputise for the Hotel Manager in their absence
- to provide training to new staff & retraining to existing staff. In all aspects of the Deputy Hotel Manager role
- to ensure all hotel bedrooms, public areas and storerooms are cleaned within the agreed time guidelines
- to maintain the reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, kitchen, back office and staff areas in a clean and tidy condition
