Responsibility
assist the Registered Care Manager in
carrying out plans
promoting good childcare practices within the home

managing and controlling all financial budgets allocated in the home
identifying training needs within the team and participating in enabling these needs to be met
as a Deputy Care Manager with us, you will assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the four-bedroomed OFSTED registered Children’s Home
all administration, childcare functions and any other delegated tasks at the home in the absence of the Registered Care Manager
Education
A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
full driving licence
full driving licence - to facilitate and encourage positive experiences and participation in social and leisure activities
previous work experience with a Children's Home setting with Young People
level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare qualified
level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma or equivalent - to start with a base level understanding of the industry and the needs of the children and young people you support
proven experience in a residential care setting with knowledge of Ofsted, Quality Standards and relevant legislation - to provide you with awareness of the needs of your team members and regulatory bodies
