Responsibility
- assist the Registered Care Manager in
- carrying out plans
- promoting good childcare practices within the home

- managing and controlling all financial budgets allocated in the home
- identifying training needs within the team and participating in enabling these needs to be met
- as a Deputy Care Manager with us, you will assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the four-bedroomed OFSTED registered Children’s Home
- all administration, childcare functions and any other delegated tasks at the home in the absence of the Registered Care Manager
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- full driving licence
- full driving licence - to facilitate and encourage positive experiences and participation in social and leisure activities
- previous work experience with a Children's Home setting with Young People
- level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare qualified
- level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma or equivalent - to start with a base level understanding of the industry and the needs of the children and young people you support
- proven experience in a residential care setting with knowledge of Ofsted, Quality Standards and relevant legislation - to provide you with awareness of the needs of your team members and regulatory bodies
- residential Care Home: 1 year
