- reading and following engineering drawings, installation instructions
- fabricating components and assemblies and undertake repairs
- the manufacture of components in accordance with customer requirements
- operate hand tools and power tools correctly and in a safe manner
- reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- reading and interpreting works instructions
- any other work as requested by management that they deem suitable
Requirements
- NVQ / SVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship
- welding / Fabrication apprenticeship
- time-served trades-person or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience
- ability to read and understand engineering plans and technical drawings
- excellent interpersonal skills
- A wide range of experience in fabrication, on which you can draw
- ability to work in a changing environment
- articulate, confident communicator at all levels
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
