nursery cook
Working hours
- full-time

Responsibility
- prepare nutritional meals from scratch in a timely manner
- awareness of children who have food allergies or dietary requirements
- manage food orders
- maintain the temperature of all food areas by following proper cooking techniques
- nursery Cook required for a nursery in Ruislip , Must be able to work 9-5pm / 9.30 - 5.30pm , Monday - Friday, recent UK cook experience essential, must have a Food Hygiene certificate and understanding of cooking for children with allergies and dietary requirements
- adhere to food hygiene standards at all times
- nursery Cook required Monday - Friday 8/9am - 4.30pm OR half days from 8/9am -2.30pm, for a lovely little nursery in the village of Turville , you must be able to cook from scratch , child friendly meals, we also welcome applicants who also enjoy cooking as a hobby and may not of worked officially before as a cook , we will put you on a food hygiene course
- ability to maintain strong personal relationships with staff and children
Requirements
- ability to keep a kitchen clean and tidy
- recent experience as a Cook in the UK, Nursery Cook experience a bonus but not essential
- understand basics of food hygiene, we will put you through a food hygiene/safety course if you do not have this
- certification in food hygiene
- can work well alone and alongside other when needed
- understanding of cooking for children who may have food allergies and dietary requirements
- can work full-time , Monday-Friday, 9-5pm OR 9.30am-5.30pm
- can cook food from scratch
