architectural technician
Responsibility
- create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros 3D, and MicroStation
- collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings
- prepare drawings for construction projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings
- ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
- review and analyze technical specifications and blueprints
- assist in the development of project documentation, including schedules and material lists
- maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval
Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role
- proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros 3D, and MicroStation
- strong knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles
- familiarity with graphic design software is a plus
- ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
