Responsibility
- carrying out basic maintenance/repairs/safety checks
- to be available to unlock/lock the premises for pre-planned visits
- responsible for the security of the premises and contents, undertaking key holder responsibilities involving locking/unlocking entrances, checking and securing windows and internal doors, activating and switching off alarm system
- to help keep the school clean by making regular inspections to check that the cleanliness of the premises are meeting expected standards
- to be aware of the instructions and procedures relating to Health and Safety at work are being complied with, within our buildings and grounds
- ensure that items of equipment and disposable resources pertaining to the job are stored securely
- making observations of cleaning reporting back to the Site Manager and/or the Designated Manager
