Responsibility

• to work as room leader and to implement the setting curriculum across our 3-4 room and large outdoor environment
• to demonstrate good leadership skills and team management
• to provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children

• to lead planning and maintain accurate and effective children’s records where appropriate and take overall responsibility for this
• to work with our qualified teacher and take direction on developing, implementing and maintaining a sequenced curriculum that supports child development
• to promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members
• to support the development of good practice about special needs and inclusion
• to have current and UpToDate knowledge on outdoor learning and provision and implement robust routines that allow free flow throughout the nursery day
• to ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand and when necessary follow Safeguarding Procedures
• to direct team members and promote a positive work ethos, including supporting staff development, conflict management and good practice
• to ensure the environment is always presentable and clean
• managing and maintaining administration requirements
