Responsibility
advise the Treasury Accounting Senior Manager in the planning of holidays and other staff leave for the team
liaise with key customers and stakeholders to enable an efficient operation of Banking processes in accordance with Service Level Agreements
provide financial advice to leadership and business units based on planning and analysis
develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support
lead and motivate the day-to-day activities of the team to always deliver services efficiently and with a customer focused approach
manage and lead variance analysis, evaluation, analysis of business performance, ad-hoc reporting requests, and recommend actions to meet Hilton financial objectives
establish the relevant metrics and reporting tools that will aid best practice
deliver positive change to the Treasury Accounting function and encourage ‘continuous improvement’ within the team
Requirements
solid understanding of principles and practical application of GAAP and the ability to communicate this to stakeholders
ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met
education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance degree or similar
excellent proficiency in computer skills
education: Master’s Degree
experience communicating and negotiating with all levels of management and external customers
additional Requirement: Relevant applicable Banking/Treasury Qualification ; Hospitality Industry experience
