- chair side assistance, providing four handed dentistry to the patient
- provide high quality care, reassurance and monitoring of the patient during treatment
- to work within the in house laboratory
- assistance in administering first aid
- to maintain patient confidentiality
- to follow practice Health & Safety codes in all aspects including handling/taking x-rays, resuscitation, emergency procedures and fire drill
- cross infection control within the surgery and organisation of clinical waste, paying all due attention to relevant legal and ethical codes, health and safety and practice policy
- to be registered with the GDC
