Responsibility
- lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of service desk analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- develop and maintain service desk processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistent and efficient support delivery
- monitor and manage service desk metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement
- collaborate with IT teams to identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures to minimize disruptions
- engage with stakeholders to understand evolving technology needs and align service desk strategies accordingly
- provide escalation support for complex technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the quality of service desk operations
- prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT support, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
- strong background in managing global service desk operations
- proven ability to drive performance improvements and deliver exceptional user experiences
- proficiency in IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- demonstrated experience in managing remote teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
- strategic mindset with the ability to align service desk goals with broader business objectives
- relevant certifications are a plus
