Job descriptionThe Warehouse Operations Manager role will be responsible for managing the day to day activities, motivating and developing your team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.It will be your responsibility to ensure all orders are picked and packed correctly, delivered on time and deal with any issues efficiently and effectively. This role is a hands on role.Responsibilities: Preparing daily orders and ensuring orders are picked and packed accurately and presentableLead by example, demonstrating best practice at all timesEnsure all operatives are productive and working within the processes and proceduresAble to manage time and resources effectivelyManaging staff KPIs and attendanceForward planning especially during peaks and downtimeOrganising and processing inbound and outbound stock including new deliveriesStock control checks and maintain inventory accuracy levelsConducting quality control checksEnsuring a clean, tidy and safe work environmentEnsure the DC, as well as yourself, are adhering to all Health & Safety, Quality, Security and Environmental compliance standardsKey skills: Warehouse experience within a FMCG environmentExcellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills, written and verbalExcellent leadership skills and motivating the teamExcellent customer service skills, demonstrating a professional manner at all timesDemonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the businessAble to use own initiative and demonstrate a common sense approach to dutiesProblem solving, be efficient in investigating and providing accurate informationContinuously looking for improvementsComputer Literate, intermediate level of ExcelAbility to work well unde
