➢ Be familiar with the workings of a members’ golf club
➢ Have the ability and experience to handle different situations in a calm and positive manner
➢ Show high standards of professionalism with strong written and verbal communication skills both internally and with third parties
➢ Have a methodical approach, an eye for detail, and be committed to delivering to the highest standard

Responsibility

➢ Supervising the construction and maintenance of all aspects of the golf course
➢ Supervising the maintenance and repair of all course maintenance and construction equipment
➢ Rendering professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services to the club's committees and/or general manager as required
➢ Participating in committee meetings and attending board meetings if required
➢ Managing, training, and developing the Greenkeeping team
➢ Ensure that the correct procedures are followed regarding the use of all machinery, fertilizers and chemicals
➢ Always promote and enforce safe working practices, reporting any accidents or near misses using the stipulated channels
➢ Maintain appropriate levels of supplies, ensuring safe and effective control of all stored materials and grounds maintenance products
