Requirements
- previous experience within a similar working environment
- safety focused
- good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- mechanical aptitude, able to operate and troubleshoot production equipment
- previous experience with food safety regulations and practices, including HACCP principles would be advantageous
- fork Lift Licence required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- able to work as part of a team, with ability to prioritise for the benefit of the wider function
Responsibility
- perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- monitor product quality during the production process and make adjustments as necessary
- conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- maintain accurate production records and documentation
- complete machine change-overs in an efficient and safe manner, in accordance with agreed processes
- operate our various machinery to ensure production is maintained, in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures , ensuring key targets are achieved
- ensure high standards of safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the facility
