Responsibility

  • the nursery room leader is responsible for the overall management of the nursery
  • this position is responsible for the day to day operations of the nursery and the care of our children
  • happy Trails Play Nursery, an inspirational new setting offering spectacular childcare in Shinfield, headed up a highly experienced manager and well trained team
  • enhanced DBS checks, Qualification checks, Reference checks, Identity Checks, Training received, Certification's awarded
  • this position will manage and oversee the nursery staff, ensure that all staff are following safety guidelines, policies and procedures and provide direction as needed

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursery environment preferred but not required
  • knowledge of OFSTED standards and experience of inspections
  • A high school diploma or general education degree . A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
  • you will also take responsibility in the managers absence and lead your entire team
  • nursery: 2 years
  • primarily focusing on the the implementation and of all setting policies and safeguarding practices
  • \* Educated! A minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • you will have a broad understanding of how to implement your knowledge of EYFS framework and deliver the highest quality development experience to the children
