(deleted by the administrator) carpenter/builder is to be avoided at all costs. His carpentry skills are poor, fails to deliver on commissions and does not complete projects. (deleted by the administrator) then fails to communicate or refticy work, he takes the money and disappears. Please do not use Handy Compliance (Salisbury)

Insurance is pointless when the company closes and then sets up again under a different name. Also impossible when calls/emails are not acknowledged. Small claims court is an option but again if a company has closed then financial recourse is unlikely.

Okay, closing and opening under a new name has not been mentioned before. But it seems to me that if it is as you say, it is easy to prove - one company is closing down, but in a moment there is a new one under the same owner? come on..
