Responsibility
- proactive teams will focus on planning, designing, and delivering communications campaigns to support departmental priorities
- responding to queries, briefing journalists and supporting on proactive announcements covering a range of high-profile issues leading the news agenda
- you’ll help create innovative audience-focused communications plans, using all the channels at your disposal, including media, social, paid for and low cost no cost marketing
- supporting a professional, responsive 24/7 media service
- developing social media content for a variety of channels and supporting the team to engage with influencers and high-profile figures
- working as a member of one of the busiest comms teams in Whitehall, rotating across media, campaigns, social media, internal communications, and external affairs
- working on campaigns and initiatives to highlight the support for and work of staff within the department
- deliver creative and engaging multi-media content to staff and departmental leads on appropriate channels to reach and target internal audiences
