- assisting the Site Manager to ensure high levels of productivity of the team
- assisting the Site Manager to monitor project progress and ensure that deadlines are met
- applying technical knowledge to problem solve on site
- supervising day to day operations of the team and helping to carry out morning briefings where daily targets are set
- presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks as per the company policy
- helping to ensure construction health and safety compliance
- helping to ensure all site rules are adhered to by all personnel on site
- helping to organising and oversee external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector, building inspector, etc
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- excellent knowledge of the construction industry including current building methods and regulations
- CSCS card
- valid CSCS Card, SMSTS Training or Equivalent Construction Site Health and Safety Training
- first Aid
- strong communication skills

- construct, install, and repair wooden structures such as roofs, doors, windows, and furniture
- read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications
- utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks
- ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications
- fabricate components as needed for various projects
- assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment during construction activities
- maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter is essential
- familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is required
- proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to joinery work
- experience in welding is an advantage but not mandatory
- ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
- previous experience in roofing or masonry would be beneficial
