Working hours

Responsibility

to complete statutory fire and security checks
to clean all pots, pans and any other equipment as required and ensure they are stored correctly and neatly
complete daily hand over procedures in an efficient and responsible manner
ensure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly and are available for outlets as required
ensure al corridors are clear; fire extinguishers and fire doors are secure whilst conducting safety floor checks during the night
maintenance of kitchen area, sweeping/mopping floors, steam clean or hose out bins as required and emptying bins when full etc
have a visible presence within the hotel to ensure that all customers request and queries are responded to promptly and effectively
deal with guest queries and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements

to have worked in a hotel or accommodation services business
to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it
to be able to work independently, being self-motivated to complete the tasks
flexibility- to enjoy working night shifts, seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends
follow hygiene and cleanliness standards to ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy

strong communication skills
