Responsibility

  • leading the recruitment and retention of the farm's team to meet the business needs
  • responsible for, and autonomy of, the staff rota, holidays, weekend cover
  • managing flocks from flock housing, depopulation and unit turn around
  • manage daily egg collection from our poultry houses and the welfare of hens
  • accurately manage flock records and ensure timely corrective actions as required
  • analyse and report on welfare statistics, egg production and feed data
  • developing practices and processes to ensure the business operates efficiently
  • ensure environmental targets are met as set out in the company’s PPC permit

  • poultry industry: 3 years
