Responsibility
- plan and deliver high-quality work with young people
- engage face-to-face with young people using diverse methods
- promote diversity and inclusion in program development and delivery
- work within an anti-discrimination framework
- implement informal research and consultation to understand young people's experiences and needs
- provide young people with relevant information, support, and signposting
- manage time and resources effectively
- collaborate with other youth workers, partners, music and arts therapists, and link workers
Requirements
- minimum Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work or related profession
- experience working with young people aged 11–25 years
- experience with specific interest groups
- experience working at a regional level and meeting targets
- ability to engage, support, and motivate young people using various methods
- experience in developing and delivering participation work with young people
- knowledge of issues facing young people and regional/local networks
- understanding of government policy structures and initiatives for young people
