transport coordinator
Responsibility
- design, develop and implement training programmes for staff across various departments
- coordinate and schedule training sessions using external training providers ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations
- stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and driver assessment
- adhere to company policy and processes in relation Health, Safety and Welfare
- ensure all training and assessments adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external stakeholders
- assist in and when required investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- take reasonable care of own Health and Safety and that of others that could be affected by your own actions
Requirements
- proven experience as a trainer or educator ideally in the warehouse and distribution sector
- innovative and continuous improvement focused
- bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is desirable
- A great all-round team player, able to roll up your sleeve and get involved in all areas of the business as required
- commercial driving: 5 years
