Responsibility
- weston Street, Bolton
- main responsibilities
- to attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
- completing minor repairs to PCV's
- assisting craftsmen as required
- any other duties as required
- act in a manner as to ensure the health, safety, welfare, environment and fire safety of yourself and others in the organisation, as well as any customers, clients and visitors - understanding emergency and evacuation arrangements
Requirements
- flexible to cover a variety of shifts
- possession of a full PCV licence
- attention to detail
- A basic knowledge of heavy motor vehicles
- ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- previous experience carrying out vehicle maintenance
- must be conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment and the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems
- be customer focused and able to communicate effectively with our staff and customers
