- our client is an award winning, market leader in the Signage / Graphics industry
- the successful candidate will sit within the purchasing team and support the department with various projects
- they are a large Leeds based company with a varied blue chip customer base that encompasses sectors including retail, banking, automotive, licensed trade and more
- long established and led by a team that are at the forefront of the sector, this company provides for some of the biggest companies in the country
- they are growing from strength to strength and are looking for a Junior Buyer / Purchasing Assistant to come on board to work on a variety of new and ongoing projects
- carry out professional buying practices with the aim to achieve agreed targeted cost reductions in both cost of sales and overhead areas
- liaise with all departments as appropriate to overcome issues experienced by suppliers & manufacturers
- day to Day buying of raw materials, services, part finished products and completed products
Requirements
- enthusiasm, communication skills and ability to work competently under pressure are essential
- excellent attention to detail and an eye for consistency
