Responsibility

  • oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
  • manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing and payment authorisation
  • develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support business planning
  • collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of any issues
  • utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or others to maintain accurate financial records
  • provide financial analysis and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
  • ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation of tax returns

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within finance or accounting
  • strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial management techniques
  • proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms is essential
  • excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • expertise in integrating newly acquired entities and experience with developing financial processes to standardise reporting and control of inter-company activities
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines
  • exceptional communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory
