Responsibility
- assessment of risks within our underwriting agreements
- determining pricing, coverage and setting of terms
- full understanding of the underwriting standards and procedures for commercial schemes
- full understanding and compliance of underwriting standards and procedures for commercial schemes
- ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- liaising with insurers as and when needed to agree a suitable outcome
- underwrite, produce quotations and policy documents in a timely and accurate manner and within our underwriting agreements
- ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and to chase insurers as and when needed to ensure the Client is fully informed of progress at all times
Requirements
- knowledge of insurance underwriting market
- knowledge of insurance market preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- we would be interested to hear from candidates either from an insurer or broker underwriting environment
- personable and approachable attitude
- organised, thorough and accurate, proactive and efficient
- ability to switch between tasks
- time management - prioritise and keep deadlines
- ability to negotiate – achieve required outcome with brokers and internally
