- cutting, de-burring and cleaning of tube ready for pipe manufacture
- production of pipe end forms to drawing and selected inspection procedure
- pipe swaging, flanging and flaring
- polishing and / or cleaning of pipe work
- forming of olives or cutting rings on fuel lines to procedure
- jig fitting of selected pipes and systems where training permits
- pre-stressing operation treatment throughout the range of fuel lines
- production of drain manifolds and drain-line parts
Requirements
- ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
- possess demonstrable engineering hand skills
- experience of silver-soldering
- experience with pipe bending
- to apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- have completed formal engineering training
