Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- delivery of wholesale bread and pastry orders within the local Canterbury area
- the route will take approximately 2-4 hours and involves delivering the bread to restaurants, cafes and farm shops
- you will be provided with a new delivery van and training on the route and drop off points
- gilda Bakery is an award winning artisan bakery, located in the village of Bishopsbourne, near Canterbury, Kent
- you will need to be friendly, show initiative and be a safe and careful driver who enjoys meeting people. You will be an important part of our team and be the last point in the process of supplying our high quality products to our customers
- you will need to arrive to start your shift by 6.30am to be ready to start loading the freshly baked bread and pastries ready for delivery. You will finish by 8am or 10.30am depending on traffic and the volume of deliveries
- the role is ideal for someone keen to work early a few hours a day early in the morning and have the rest of the day free
